Pet Lovers’ Death Café
The Pet Lovers Death Café brings together the pet lover community so the topic of pet death can be normalized and compassionately discussed through encouraging open discourse and examination. Talking about our experiences and feelings related to the illness and loss of a beloved pet can also be a way to start conversations about our own dying and death.
Ottawa Public Library is partnering with the Home Hospice Association (HHA) to offer this program, which will be led by HHA Death Café Facilitator Crystal Bernard. Coffee and tea will be provided.
