Submitting Graphics & Text

To help us share your event clearly and consistently across our Community News grid and local channels, please follow these guidelines with your submission:

Graphic Specifications

• Preferred Shape: Square (1080 x 1080 pixels). This ensures your graphic aligns perfectly in our 4-column layout and fits Facebook or Instagram grids without text getting cut off.

• Maximum Height: Portrait images (like flyers) are accepted but should not exceed 1080 x 1350 pixels.

• Format & Size: Strictly JPG or PNG format (maximum file size 2MB).

• Readability: Event title and date must be clearly visible on the graphic. Use high-contrast, bold fonts. Avoid tiny details or busy scripts, as most view this on a phone.

• Safe Margins: Keep all critical text slightly away from the edges of the image so it doesn’t get clipped.

Text Description Specifications

• Headline: 80 characters or less (e.g., “Bells Corners On Tap Beer Fest — Sat July 4, 1-7pm”). This keeps our homepage grid neatly aligned.

• Event Details: No strict length limit, but please keep description copy concise, organized, and highly scannable.

• Call to Action: Always include a direct website link, contact email, or telephone number for registration or updates.
